I'm baaaaack...

A week in Florida did my soul wonders.
My body and mind needed the rest!
I have never seen clearer waters in Destin.
They were island-like.
We went to the zoo, gulfarium, and of course the beach.
We played and played and napped and napped.
Nightly snuggles were the most precious moment, and I kind of missed those last night.

Trying to get back to normal routine today, and man that is tough!!
We bought a new car today.
So that was pretty exciting.
We can't wait to double date with our neighbors in it!!
(it's the little things)

We are currently planning our anniversary pictures in two weeks.
Any ideas on what to wear...
This is so much harder than engagement pictures!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Friday [Thursday] 5

Since I will more than likely not be able to post tomorrow,
I am fast forwarded and doing it today!
I have a few meetings lined up that are in complete opposite directions!!

one.
I am pumped for tomorrow.
Spending the afternoon with one of my favorite humans, Kylah.
And then, to top that off, double date night with our favorite neighbors.
Woohoo for Sangria, Italian food, and making s'mores!

We are taking our "nephew" to the Zoo on Saturday,
and I cannot wait to see his sweet face get so excited!
Let's just hope we can figure out how to work the stroller.
yup

I leave for Florida on Monday.
Hallelujah, praise the Lord.

Allllll of our shows come back next week.

So naturally, Fall makes our family look like we just sit around and watch TV all day, but whatever.
[and also note that Gilmore Girls will be on Netflix next week.
Even though I have seen this series proabably 12 times, no joke, I will definitely be watching it all over again.]

Cannot wait for these to come in the mail.
I will be blogging about them as soon as I get them, and where you can find yours!
You can't get this vest on her website, but she has some other amazing pieces that I am itching to get my hands on. Especially this cardigan.

Tuesday Trends: Planners

I am a Planner fanatic.
If I don't write it down-- I will not remember.
Last Summer I waited patiently for Black Friday so I could order Emily Ley's Simplified Planner 20% off.
When you are spending $50+ on a planner, every little bit helps.
I have absolutely loved using this planner, and you can read all about it here.

For the past two months, I have been searching again.
Things I love:
Professional Looking [sorry Lilly, you just don't portray 'take me seriously' when people see it lol]
Monthly layout and Weekly Layout
To Do List style
Quotes [come on, they're fun]
Dinner or Extra Space

Here are my top contenders
[in no particular order]:

1. Whitney English Day Designer
Hellllllllo beauties.
This seems to be the closest to the SP.
I seriously want every color.
These can be found on Etsy.
January 2015 DAY DESIGNER - Carrie Floral - Yearly Planner & Daily Agenda, Calendar, Organizer

2. Emily Ley SP
It's in my blood. And those dots. Obsessed.
Plus, isn't she just the most precious human ever?
I love the quotes, recipe section, and to do list.
I don't really need the day broken out by time though, so that is why I am looking at other options.
 Emily Ley

3. Plum Paper Designs
They are found on Etsy.
This one is the most budget friendly.
And I love the weekly option that is just lists instead of times.
2014 & 2015 Family Planner

4. Erin Condren Life Planner
Stickers and Colors and pockets galore!
I love the customization of this one.
This one seems like what I need the most, however I want to see a close up the daily/weekly pages.

What planners have you used and loved [or hated]?!
Which one are you planning on getting for 2015?!
 SOS!

And Time's Forever Frozen Still

Ed Sheeran, you are wonderful.
This dude seriously killed it at the Bridgestone Saturday night.
Just a guy and his guitar, and it was one of the best shows I have ever been to.

Caroline and I started the night off at Cantina Loredo.
Their water [margs] is beyond delicious.
Since we got done a little early, and didn't really care to see the opener, we marched our excited selves down to Honky Tonk [yes, that's right] to catch the UT game for a bit.

I laughed so hard in that short 45 minutes.

I really can't explain how great of job Ed did.
In case you are a new to him, or just know his radio hits, I definitely recommend you fall in love with these:
Photograph
Drunk
Tenerife Sea [If I could get married again, this would be my 1st dance]
Sunburn
One
Take It Back/The Man [which I can rap both of]
Ok, really just go download his whole CD, you won't regret it.

Monday, Monday

This weekend was by far one of the best in awhile!
Friday I did a little shopping at local boutique, and walked away being Instagram famous.
Just kidding, I went in looking for a top for the Ed Sheeran concert,
and what do you know, I found this Hunter Green dress for our one year anniversary celebration.
The girls loved it so much, they took a pic for their instagram page!
I felt cool, okay?!

Friday night we had date night!
[the next morning we realized it was our 11 month anniversary... when did that happen!?!!]

Saturday I had to run a few errands, and get a birthday present for a friend.
I snagged these two fun door decorations, and I was so excited!!
Have I mentioned I love fall?!

^^^ wipe your paws, makes me LOL everytime I see it^^^

Saturday night was Ed Sheeran!!!!
[Saving those pictures for my next post, get excited!!]

Sunday was full of laziness, football, and watching this munchkin.
Leave your kid with us, and we will teach him the ways.

We finished it off by flipping channels between Miss America and Sunday Night Football.
I personally think it's awesome that NY wore a jumpsuit, sat on the floor, sang and did that little cup thing.
When has a Miss America contestant ever gotten near the floor other than falling?!
And have you ever done that? That nonsense takes some serious rhythm.
It's funny. We hate on the girls that are too perfect and unrealistic, and when a girl sits down and taps a cup we think she's unworthy of representing the Nation.
She didn't win with a red cup.
But let's take a moment to honor the real Miss America

Whoomp, there it is.

Anyways, congrats to those girls for walking in heels far more than I ever dream to!

Hope everyone has a great Monday!
